Fundamentals of Digital marketing- SEO and SEM

“SEO (search Engine Optimisation) is where you focus 100% on ranking in the organic results. SEM (search engine marketing) is when you tap into both SEO and PPC in order to get traffic from search engines”

Google’s search results are divided into two main categories: the paid search results and the organic search results. SEO is where you focus 100% on ranking in the organic results. SEM is when you tap into both SEO and PPC in order to get traffic from search engines.

One of the main differences between SEO and SEM is speed and ……..

SEO improves the visibility of the website.SEM can improve the sales of a small business.SEO offers high value to your website over time.SEM offers immediate results, but it doesn’t stay effective over time.

There is no payment required when a visitor clicks on the search result of SEO. Payment is required when a visitor clicks on the search result of SEM. SEO is not good for testing your website.SEM is good for testing your website. The SEO search result doesn’t target the audience. SEM search result targets the selected audience. In SEO Competition is lesser due to the requirement of organic content. In SEM,Competition is higher in the targeted keywords. The Impact of SEO requires time.SEM impacts are immediate.

Similarities Between SEO And SEM-

  • SEO and SEM help to grow a website and improve traffic on it.
  • SEO and SEM help brands to appear in the search result.
  • Website owners require knowing their audience to use both SEO and SEM.
  • They both require regular testing and proper optimization to stay on top.
  • They both target specific audiences for specific keywords.

What Is SEO?

The term SEO is a short form of Search Engine Optimization that works to optimize and improve the website visibility on the natural (organic traffic) SERPs or Search Engine Result Pages. In other words, it is beneficial for optimizing the website so it can become highly visible for relevant searches. There are two major types of SEO: the first one is On-page SEO, and the other is Off-page SEO. Hence, both of these types are essential to improve website traffic organically.

On-Page SEO

On the page, SEO is also called on-site SEO because it covers all the on-site techniques that can be employed for assuring the quality of a webpage as per the SERP rankings. Different factors work in the website ranking, such as optimized content, site accessibility, title tags, page speed, keywords, etc.

On-page, SEO uses technical elements and content elements for increasing the webpage quality. Therefore, on-page SEO can generate more traffic to the website by different factors.

These factors are here —-

URL Structure

URL structure plays an essential role in the website’s growth because it allows a search engine for crawling from the page-to-page on the website, making the navigation easier for visitors.

It is good to have a good URL structure, so you need to put keywords in the URL to make it appropriate for organic traffic. URLs must be relevant, short, and easy to understand so that your website can get more visitors.

In URL structure, pillar pages work to improve the website through specific pages dedicated to famous and more searchable topics. Website owners can link different pages in the pillar pages so that visitors can visit those pages as well.

Content

Content is a key factor to attach visitors to the website because engaging and informative content generates more organic traffic as it holds some of the essential aspects of SEO.

Content of the website should be useful and well optimized for the reader. If you are willing to create the best content, then you should follow the instructions given below:

  • Content should be specific according to the title and keyword to get more traffic due to the detailed information.
  • Content should be unique even from the other pages of the website. It should consist of 500+ words so that the search engine can prioritize your website.
  • Use the title and keywords properly because the search engine algorithm works according to the keyword density.

Title Tag

A title tag is a web page title or the main heading of a web page in SERP, so always try to use the targeted keyword in the webpage title. For using keyword properly, you can follow the instructions given below:

  • Keep the title of the web page to almost 55-65 characters that include spaces.
  • Try to put the keyword at the beginning of the title but don’t stuff the keyword unnecessarily.

Internal Linking

Internal linking of the web pages also plays a vital role in on-page SEO. Linking various relevant web pages of a website is beneficial because it can crawl more and more on search engines and keep visitors engaged with the website. For improving the internal linking of the website, you can follow the below instructions:

  • Add or link the relevant and existing content in the new post.
  • Try to create relevant content according to the pillar page to link multiple web pages with that pillar page of the website.
  • Ensure that you have to link at least 2 to 3 links with every new web page of your website.

Headings

Generally, the search engine gives a little more value to headings compared to other web page text that means search engine algorithms detect the headings for placing a web page in the relevant search.

You must include the target keyword in the headings, but ensure that your heading reflects the web page’s content. For appropriate heading structure, you need to use H1 heading only once and H2 and H3 for other headings.

Meta Description

In on-page SEO, the meta description does not directly impact the on-page optimization because it is a factor that is beneficial for the users so that they can visit the relevant web page. In simple words, the meta description is a short detail that appears at the bottom of the URL in a search engine’s results.

You need to make sure that you create a meta description under 150 characters so that a complete description can be visible in the search results.

Keywords

According to the changes in search engines’ algorithms, keywords are becoming less important now, but keyword optimization is still essential for SEO. For better organic traffic, you need to think about the target audience and their usual searches, then optimize your website’s content according to those keywords and searches.

Images

The image of the website should be well optimized and visible for the visitors of your website. Apart from it, alt text in images also holds an important aspect of content management because these texts keep the website in acquiescence with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Ensure that you described the web page image in almost 8 to 10 words and include the keywords in it.

Page Performance

Most of the above on-page SEO factors play a vital role in the structure and quality of the content, but it is essential to improve the performance of the page so that it can take less time and visitors can visit more and more. It is beneficial for the website to enhance the visitor’s experience.

Off-Page SEO

Off-page SEO is a technique to improve the rank of your website in SERPs or Search Engine Results Page. In other words, this technique is beneficial for a website to have more visibility in the search results.According to the comparison of on-page SEO, this SEO technique is not associated with the website and content because it works with different tactics to improve the authority of a website. Off-Page SEO shows the importance of the websites to visitors. There are different factors of off-page SEO.

Link Building-

Link building works as a base of the strategy in off-page SEO because it helps gather an audience for surpassing your competitor’s website rank. As we have mentioned above, off-page SEO aims to create the authority of your business and the position of your website.

In the website ranking process, the search engine algorithm reads the links of a web page and crawls these links to search for web pages and rank them. Before using the linking building on the website, you need to know about the good and bad linking to the website. So, here is a list of good and bad links in off-page SEO.

Good link building:

  • Links from the relevant website
  • Links must have a relevant anchor text.
  • Links should be trusted (without having malware in the link)
  • Links should have proper tags.

Bad Link building:

  • Links of the comment
  • Blog directories
  • Article directories
  • Forum signatures

Social Media Marketing

Social media marketing plays a vital role in attracting the targeted audience and improving the traffic to your website. You can use social media as a platform to spread your business by reaching potential customers through it.

You need to remember that maintaining strong communication and professional presence on social media platforms is suitable for a website because more and more audiences can know about it through these platforms.

Branding

Branding and promoting a business is a great idea to achieve a targeted audience and make them loyal customers/users of your services. Branding is an important factor of off-page SEO that works to expand the business to reach more and more people and gain more visitors to the website.

Social media marketing and branding helps to spread your website or business to the people for gaining a massive number of visitors/customers.

Customer Reviews

As the name suggests, customer reviews are an opinion of a visitor or a customer of your website so that you can use these opinions to optimize your website for a better user experience. This off-page SEO technique helps you improve your website according to your visitors to crawl better according to the positive customer reviews.

Techniques In SEO:-

There are 3 major types of techniques in SEO that can be used while optimizing a website for better visibility. Let’s understand these techniques briefly.

Techniques of SEO

White Hat SEO

This technique works with website optimization strategies, which are approved by Google. In other words, White hat SEO is a technique to improve the search ranking on the result page of a search engine. This SEO technique includes different factors such as:

  • Make the website easier to navigate.
  • It works under the rules of Google.
  • It offers quality and well-optimized content.
  • Make a website platform friendly (both mobile and web browser).

Black Hat SEO

It is the opposite of the White Hat SEO because it works against the search engine guidelines. In other words, this technique is used to improve the website ranking by violating the terms and services of a search engine.

This technique in SEO involves different factors such as cloaking, keyword stuffing, and usage of private links. It is used as an unethical way to improve the website traffic on the search engine.

Grey Hat SEO

As its name describes it, a Grey Hat SEO works between White Hat SEO and Black Hat SEO because a website can be optimized using both black hat and white hat techniques. You can use this Grey Hat SEO if your website doesn’t have the 100% fulfillment of Google-approved guidelines for search results.

This technique can improve the ranking of your website without having any negative consequences.

Benefits Of SEO-

  • It doesn’t include any paid ads for improving website traffic.
  • SEO works to target the quality of traffic for the website.
  • It can improve the user experience of your website.
  • Improves brand credibility and visibility.
  • Works as a long-term strategy for the website.
  • Your website gets more clicks than SEM.

What Is PPC ?

Pay-Per-Click advertising or (PPC) means a website owner needs to pay for every visitor coming from or every click generated from the advertisement on the search engine. As you can see in the image below, the search results have some websites with the “Ad” mark on them, which means these website owners are using ads to promote their website on the search engine.

Benefits Of SEM-

  • You can reach your target audience instantly.
  • Business owners can enhance their brand awareness.
  • You can target your audience by optimizing Ads.
  • SEM helps to improve traffic by the visibility of the Ad
  • You can easily place and maintain ads quicker and easier.
  • You have to pay per action.
  • SEM can quickly test and measure web page performance.

SEO is search engine optimization that works to improve the visibility of a website and generates organic views. SEM is search engine marketing that also improves the website’s visibility using ads, and website owners need to pay according to the number of clicks on their website’s ads. Hence, there are some essential differences between SEO and SEM.

INDIA’S MENSTRUATION MAN-Arunachalam Muruganantham

Arunachalam Muruganantham and his wife, Shanti.

Arunachalam Muruganantham was obsessed with making the perfect sanitary pad for his wife. After years of work, his invention has changed the lives of millions of women in India.

It all began in 1998, when Arunachalam Muruganantham, the son of poor handloom weavers in South India, realised that his wife was using old rags to deal with menstruation because she couldn’t afford sanitary pads. Muruga was shocked. But he also saw a chance to impress her. He decided to produce her sanitary pads himself. At first it seemed a simple task: he bought a roll of cotton wool and cut it into pieces, the same size as the pads sold in the shops, and then wrapped a thin layer of cotton around it. He presented this homemade prototype pad to his wife and asked her to test it. The feedback she gave him was devastating: his pad was useless and she would rather continue using old rags.Where did he go wrong? What was the difference between his sanitary pads and those available at the shop? Muruga started experimenting with different materials, but was faced with another problem: he always had to wait a month before his wife could test each new prototype. Muruga needed volunteers and had an idea where he might find them. He askedmedical students at a university close to his village. Some of them actually tested his pads but they were too shy to give him detailed feedback. Left with no alternative, he decided to test the sanitary pads himself. He built a uterus using a rubber bladder, filled it with animal blood and fixed it to his hip. A tube led from the artificial uterus to the sanitary pad in his underpants. By pressing the bladder he simulated the menstrual flow.

Unfortunately he began to smell foul and his clothes were often stained with blood. His neighbours soon noticed this. It was clear to them that Muruga was either ill or perverted. After a while his wife couldn’t stand the constant gossip. She left him and went to live with her mother.

But Muruga didn’t give up. He knew why he was going through all this. During his research he had learned that only ten totwenty percent of all girls and women in India have access to proper menstrual hygiene products. This was no longer just about helping his wife. Muruga was on mission: to produce low-cost sanitary pads for all the girls and women in his country.

It was two years before he finally found the right material and another four years before he developed a way to process it. The result was an easy-to-use machine for producing low-cost sanitary pads.Imported machines cost over US$500,000. Muruga’s machine, by contrast, is priced at US$950. Now women’s groups or schools can buy his machine, produce their own sanitary pads and sell the surplus. In this way, Muruga’s machine has created jobs for women in rural India. He has started a revolution in his own country, selling 1,300 machines to 27 states, and has recently begun exporting them to developing countries all over the world.

Today he is one of India’s most well-known social entrepreneurs and TIME magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2014.

Several corporations have offered to buy his machine, but he has refused, instead preferring to sell to women’s self help groups.

1 in 5: The number of girls in India who drop out of school due to menstruation.

300 million :The number of women in India without access to safe menstrual hygiene products.

“Women Feel Hesitant To Talk About Their Health Issues Due To Stigma“- Dr. Pooja Pandey

While having health issues is nothing to be ashamed of, a recent survey found that most women don’t feel comfortable revealing the same. The Indian Women’s Health Report 2021 analysed data from 1,000 female participants in the ages between 25 and 55 years.

According to the study, around 84 per cent of working women were victims of period-related taboos. 66 per cent of women believed having endometriosis reduce their chances of finding a husband. A whopping 90 per cent of the participants found it hard to balance personal and professional obligations (creating a high-stress lifestyle). And around 86 per cent of women saw their female peers stop working, with a majority of them due to health reasons.

Pooja Pandey, (OCD surviver , Naturopath & Entrepreneur ) Dealing with OCD taught me a lot . 80 % of working women believed that their male colleagues weren’t sensitive to their health issues. And even though half of the participants were diagnosed with or know someone who had infertility issues and breast cancer, women were still hesitant to talk about it due to social taboo. Despite the progress, we have made in the corporate sector for involving women in the workforce, issues related to women’s health are still associated with irrational taboos. The findings of our study reveal the persistence of misperceptions and illogical societal taboos related to women’s health issues affecting even India’s white-collar women across sectors.

Self – experienced & Research Based blog .

The study indicates that besides the health issues, there are multiple professional and societal stereotypes women are exposed to, which can lead to stigmatisation, affecting their professional performance. Ignorance, unawareness and lack of acceptance will only make these issues more difficult to diagnose and resolve. As a responsible society, it is imperative to make these issues acceptable and mainstream. Women have strong voices and they must speak up more often about these important issues. (Her)

“Sexual Satisfaction Is Key To A Happy Marriage”

The researchers analysed the relationship of 2,114 couples and observed that the way they feel about their connection, has a strong impact on their time between the sheets. Couples who reported that they fought fair and mutually came to an understanding after a conflict, also said their sexual connection strengthened their relationship.

When it comes to sex, our society conveniently dismisses it as something that is not a fundamental need; It is rare to hear people, especially women, admit that sexual intimacy is an integral part of their checklist because of the stigma attached to it. So when someone asked me, if I’d be open to marrying someone with whom I share poor physical chemistry, I said no. However, I wasn’t surprised by the person calling me shallow. But here’s the thing, sexual satisfaction is vital for marital satisfaction—and we have science backing this school of thought.

It is rare to hear people, especially women, admit that sexual intimacy is an integral part of their checklist because of the stigma attached to it.

A study published in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships explores the link between sexual satisfaction and other factors that affect marital bliss, such as conflict resolution quality, forgiveness, and anxious and avoidant attachment.

Healthy conflict resolution demonstrates your ability to be emotionally intelligent and mindful of your partner’s feelings. It makes your partner feel valued and seen. Would you want to plant sweet kisses on them if you’re feeling that your needs are not being taken into account? I wouldn’t.

Similarly, partners who were forgiving experienced more sexual bliss. As did people were more securely attached. It is evident from these findings that the way you feel in your marriage is strongly linked to your sexual satisfaction.

“Specifically in our study,( According to Ms.Akansha Narang) we found couples with higher levels of sexual satisfaction compared to couples with lower levels of sexual satisfaction tended to have better conflict resolution ability, be more forgiving, and know they could securely rely on their partner.”

Sexual afterglow and bonding

We know that physical touch gives us happy hormones and helps us bond. Also called the ‘cuddle hormone’, oxytocin helps relieve anxiety and improves the connection in your marriage. It aids a more secure attachment style, improves empathy and reduces stress. But did you know that its afterglow remains days after you’ve had sex?

According to science, the sexual afterglow remains for 48 hours and improves the bonding between couples. In fact, couples who experience a stronger sexual afterglow report better marital satisfaction, even four to five months later.

How to improve sexual satisfaction in marriage

It’s not rocket science to be able to connect physically with your partner. Yet, sexual intimacy often declines in marriages, as routine and other aspects of your relationship takes over. Here are a few quick tips to help improve your physical satisfaction.

1)     Communicate about your needs and make a practice of sharing feedback post-sex. It may seem too streamlined and less organic by the sound of it but it really is not. It will help you both be more aware of each other’s sexual needs, as well as make you feel closer.

2)     Schedule sex. Again, it may seem less organic but sometimes, our life gets so busy that we dismiss intimacy for other things. But scheduling sex has many benefits. You can plan your day better and the anticipation will put you in the mood.

3)     Resolve conflicts and don’t hold grudges. There’s no better libido-killer than secretly resenting your partner, long after the fight is over.

4)   expressing gratitude brings you closer and makes you feel more affectionate towards your partner, improving your relationship and your sex life significantly.

5)     Go on a sexcation. It’s okay if you don’t have sex often but when you do, it should be blissful and of good quality. Bad sex, according to experts, puts you off coitus.

आखिर क्यों होता है ब्रा में Bow?

Bow

Corset

S. H. Camp and Company

Fashion – myths #stopBodyShaming

Our body is our temple. We should respect it . It is very precious Be proud on you and on your body. Be you .. you are beautiful…@eraofgirl

If you are confident.. Nothing can stop you.

Myth: Over-sized clothes will make you look larger if you are bigger…

Feel free to consider this myth dated. There’s no reason you should skip a whole category of perfectly stylish looking silhouettes because of your body shape. While ill-fitted clothes are complete no-no for women of any size, over-sized clothes have the potential to make you look stylish without making you look bigger. Try using oversized silhouettes in the form of jackets, dresses or sweaters. This way, if you’re starting out with oversized clothing, you can easily add shape by using a belt. If you’re looking to try oversized pants or jeans, always make sure it fits you well at the waist, this way your outfit will not look sloppy.

Fashion is essentially meant to make you feel good, beautiful and confident. But if you’re drowning yourself in fashion rules dictating what you should wear as per your size or body type, we’re here with some good news: You don’t need to follow them! Here are some of the most commonly believed plus-size fashion myths you need to eliminate from your wardrobe now.

Myth: Sleeveless clothes will make your arms look bigger

Dude.. you can’t stop us ..even our Pads have Wings.

If you can’t imagine a hot summer day without a breezy sleeveless dress, you don’t have to! Sleeveless clothes cannot possibly make your arms look bigger, on the contrary, an incut sleeveless silhouette is actually great to add a vertical and sleeker look to your outfit.

Myth: Short skirts and dresses are a big no for plus size women

I am Beyond Beautiful…

Have you shied away from shorter silhouettes for long because you’ve been told your legs will look too large? It’s time to stop that now! A short dress or skirt is hardly something anyone should miss wearing when they want to. If you’re apprehensive about shorter clothes, opt for lengths that end above the knee and not right at the knee. This will help eliminate a bulky look and also help you move around better. Use pleats and structured prints to ease your way into a shorter silhouette as it will take away from your body shape.

Myth: Silk sarees will make you look bulky

A classic silk saree is a must-have in an Indian wardrobe and hardly something you should avoid in the name of size. True, silk sarees, especially raw silk or banarasi silk saris can be stiffer and slightly harder to drape, but here are a few tips that can ease the process and make the drape look flawless. To avoid extra bulk, make bigger but fewer pleats, especially at the waist. Tuck these slightly on the side and not right at the centre of your waist, this will help pleats stay in place and add a vertical shape to your drape. A thinly pleated pallu can further help keep all the fabric in place and look sleeker.

Myths: Swimsuits or bikinis aren’t meant for bigger women

If you’ve been told you can only wear super long swimsuits that cover every inch of your body, here’s how you can prove them wrong! While swimwear can be tricky, the key is to always put comfort first. Whether it’s a bikini or a short swimsuit, always make sure it’s something you’re comfortable with. Tie-ups, deep-cut bottoms and high-waist bottoms help add a sleek illusion. Always make sure your bikini top fits you well and you have the support you need.

Happy Hormones in women

As women, we share a love-hate relationship with our hormones. When a few days before our period, the level of estrogen drops and progesterone spikes in our body, we start getting mood swings, and PMS takes over our happiness. And after our period is over, life seems happy again. We still are aware of the existence of our problems but they don’t seem so unbearable.

There are different hormones, each one performing its respective function. Cortisol wakes you up in the morning. Melatonin helps you relax, so you can fall asleep. At this point, it seems like cortisol is on night duty and melatonin is playing hide-and-seek with us all day, as the pandemic led to several of us having a messed up sleep cycle.

Having said that, we also have hormones that make us feel elated. These are called happy hormones, and by boosting the production of these, you can fight stress, without having to devour that cupcake.

HAPPY HORMONES

Here are four happy hormones and how to boost their production to uplift our mood.

1.      Endorphins

Do you ever wonder why you feel so energised and thrilled after a good workout? The ‘high’ you feel is due to the spike of neurochemicals called endorphins in your body. In fact, it derives its name from ‘endogenous’ which means in our body and ‘morphine’ which is a pain killer. Endorphins are natural painkillers and give you a general sense of well-being.

How to boost: Eat dark chocolate, squeeze in a good physical activity, indulge in sexual activity and do anything that makes you feel rewarded.

2.      Oxytocin

Also called the bonding hormone, oxytocin makes you feel loved and cared for. Of course, if you’re in a situationship (an arrangement that feels like a relationship but isn’t) and cuddling with your almost lover, this hormone can eventually bring you down, However, otherwise, oxytocin is responsible for making you feel fulfilled as well as for building trust in your connections.

How to boost: You need physical affection—platonic or romantic—to boost its production. Indulge in hugs, kisses and cuddling, with your loved ones, including pets.

3.      Dopamine

This hormone is responsible for making you feel motivated and dedicated to your goals. It works with the reward part of your brain. While endorphins give you a sense of being high, after achieving a goal, dopamine makes you keep coming back to it.

How to boost: Consume protein-rich foods, sleep well, work out and get enough sunlight.

Positive & Self-motivated

4.      Serotonin

Last but not the least, serotonin is a happy hormone that helps improve your mood and gives you a good sleep. It also helps strengthen your memory and keep your gastrointestinal functions in check.

How to boost: Consume foods that contain tryptophan, an amino acid that is found in protein-rich foods including oatmeal, salmon and turkey. Exercising and enough exposure to sunlight also helps.
